METAA is the Massachusetts CoSN chapter. Because of this powerful national affiliation you have some choices about how you join our organization. You may join METAA alone or METAA + CoSN. You may also register below to indicate interest in staying informed about METAA without joining our organization yet.
If you have ANY questions about membership or benefits, please email us at: metaa@techdirectors.org.
OPTION 1: JOIN METAA Alone
COST: $150
To join METAA alone, choose this option. You will receive all the benefits that METAA has to offer including a mentor program, advocacy at the state level, professional development specifically for technology administrators, and more. The annual membership cost is only $150.
COST: example – Small district is $440 (see registration form for other size districts)
To join both organizations and to reap the benefits at the state and national level, you must join CoSN at the INSTITUTIONAL level. Below is a link to COSN registration form. Please note that state chapter dues are included only if you become an institutional member, but not if you become an individual member.
Cost of membership is calculated on the size of your organization. For example, if you have under 2500 students, annual membership for METAA + CoSN costs $440. If you already have individual CoSN membership, you will want to join METAA only ~ see OPTION 2.
There are four levels of the Corporate Partners Program. METAA provides increasingly valuable services at each level.
Building relations with Corporate Partners is an important aspect of our work. Partners support the work of METAA. In addition, we work with them to advocate for a better understanding of the needs of the educational community.
Successful engagement with our partners will help us to:
Promote a mutual sharing of emerging trends in education and technology;
Represent the best interests of educators;
Understand their products and services well enough to help our colleagues review their options and ask good questions; and
Influence vendors in ways that benefit the educational community.
